SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES

Corporate sponsorship

Sponsorship of the Whatsonstage.com Awards represents a great marketing opportunity to reach two key audiences - the UK's most avid theatregoing audience and the theatre industry - and to show your support for the best and most popular shows that Theatreland has to offer.

Sponsors also have full access to our infamously fun Awards events, which are superb for networking, corporate hospitality and staff entertainment.

The Whatsonstage.com Awards enter their 12th year in 2012 and are widely acknowledged as one of the industry’s most important accolades. As an overview of the Awards, what they’re about and how they’ve grown over the past 11 years, click here to have a look at our sponsorship presentation. For further information on corporate sponsorship, contact Terri Paddock or Richard Gresham at Whatsonstage.com on 020 7317 9100.

Individual supporter packages

We're also happy to be able to offer a select number of theatregoers an unmissable opportunity to become even more involved with this unique annual celebration of London’s world-class theatre, with a strictly limited number of supporter packages available to individuals for £550.

In addition to helping decide the winners, through sponsorship, theatregoers can get intimately involved in all of the Awards celebrations, much of which is by invitation only. In the 2011 Awards, the Nominations Launch Party featured guest presentations by Maureen Lipman, Roy Hudd and Simon Russell Beale and performances by Sheridan Smith, Anna Francolini and the cast of Flashdance and was attended by a star-studded 600-strong audience.

Meanwhile, the concluding Awards Concert, announcing the winners at the West End’s Prince of Wale Theatre, was co-hosted by Miranda Hart, Sheridan Smith and Christopher Biggins, comprised a two-hour concert performed by a roll call of West End stars, including Alfie Boe, Jill Halfpenny, Caissie Levy, Meow Meow and Ramin Karimloo, and over 20 trophy presentations to the likes of Tamsin Greig, Meera Syal, David Suchet, Zoe Wanamaker, Craig Revel Horwood, Cameron Mackintosh and many others.

Don’t you want to be part of all that fun??? (For photos and video coverage from the 2012 and previous years’ Awards events, visit www.whatsonstage.com.)

Dates for your diary: This year’s Launch Party is scheduled for mid-day on Friday 2 December 2011 and the Winners’ Concert is scheduled for the evening of Sunday 19 February 2012 at the Prince of Wales. Both events will be held in support of Stage One is dedicated to supporting new producers and productions in order to sustain the future of quality commercial theatre in this country.

Since Whatsonstage.com started their Awards, the event has gone from an insiders’ get-together to the commercial theatre’s only true popular awards: a real celebration of the most popular theatre productions of the year voted for by the people who actually pay for their own tickets and for shows they really want to see.
